Welcome to the World Baby Weasley! Part 5 (Conclusion)

George: Finally, George was alone with Angelina and Fred… his new family. He sat on the bed beside Angie and took a peek at their baby who was currently sleeping, all bundled up in blankets to keep him warm. “He’s perfect.” He whispered and softly kissed his fiancé’s forehead.

Angelina: She looked down at the tiny baby in her arms, lightly stroking her finger over her son’s little button nose and through the auburn tufts on the top of his head. There were still tears in her eyes… She couldn’t believe that she’d done it. He was finally here. After all those months of preparation, all the months of back pain and the restrictions, all the pain and now the tiredness. It was all worth it and she didn’t regret a second. Angie looked up at George and smiled warmly at him, nodding. “Thank you, For giving me him. For being there for me through all of this”, she reached up to cup his cheek “I love you so much, George Weasley. You and Fred are the most important people in my life.”

George: “I love you too, Angelina.” George gently stroke his finger on Fred’s arm, settling into his tiny hand where he instinctively tried to grab hold of “And you too, little man. You’ll just be as great, no, greater than your Uncle Fred.”

Angelina: She giggled lightly, staring back down at her son who was sleeping soundly. “I’m sure he’s looking down on us now… he’d be proud, George” she smiled.

George: He looked up to the ceiling and smiled, “you had better be proud, Fred. Look at this handsome little boy.”

Angelina: She pulled George back onto the hospital bed beside her and leant her head on his shoulder, eyes constantly captivated by her little Fred. “I hope he’s not nocturnal…” she giggled.

George: He kissed her head and looked down at his son. “so do I.”

Angelina: “Well if he is, then we both know who’s on night duty..” she teased, stifling a huge yawn.

George: “We will take it in turns,” he laughed and watched her yawn. “Do you want to go to sleep? I’m sure I can look after the little man.”

Angelina: She didn’t want to sleep at all, no matter how exhausted she was. Nature however said otherwise and her entire body ached from head to toe. Planting one more kiss on Fred’s forehead, she handed him over to his Daddy a little reluctantly. “Don’t leave ok? I want you both here when I wake up for more cuddles…from the two of you”

George: “Promise, I wont leave.” He gently took his son from her and cradled him, grinning and cooing at him. He moved to sit in the chair next to Angie and watched her gently dose off.

Angelina: Angie nodded off to the sound of George’s slow humming. When she next woke up it wouldn’t be long ‘til she was allowed to take her baby home and start his life. Her own flesh and blood. She had dreamt of this day for years, wondering how old she’d be, who she’d be with, what names she wanted… It had finally happened and everything was perfect.

Angelina Johnson was now a very proud Mummy.

Welcome to the World Baby Weasley! Part 4

George: George stepped out of the room once more, still dishevelled looking but had a huge smile plastered on his face and arms up in the air, shouted “IT’S A GINGER!”

Molly: She jumped up quickly and hugged her dishevelled son. “Congratulations Georgie!” She released him from her grip, but keeps hold of his arms. “Will we get to see our grandson soon?”

George:“Soon, Mum, everyone will get to see him and Angie soon but we reckon it’d be nice if Dante and Jonathan would be the first to go inside.” He said smiling while opening the door a little wider, signalling them to come in.

Dante: “Thank you, George.” He said, before grabbing his sons arm. “Get up you lazy toerag, we’re going to see sister and your nephew.”

Jonathon:Jonathon stood up quickly, and smiled at George. “Congrats, mate.” He said before winking and walking past George into Angies room.

Alvita:Grinning from ear to ear, Alvita motioned for her husband and son to come to her side. “He is beautiful. She did such a wonderful job. I’m so proud of her”

Angelina: Angie was propped up on the pillows, hair wild and completely exhausted but her attention remained fixated on the deep blue eyes of the little baby in her arms, deep mahogany tufts of hair sticking out from the blanket. She looked up at her family, a warm smile stretching across her lips.

Dante: “We’re all proud of her,” he said joining his wife. He smiled warmly at his daughter, “Well done, darling.”

Jonathon: “Congrats Angie,” he said making his way to the side of her bed.

George:He walked back into the room and smiled at them all before standing at Angies side. “The perfect mix of Johnson and Weasley, wouldn’t you say?”

Angelina: “He’s perfect..” she whispered and looked up at her family. “So how does it feel to be a Granddad then, Dad? And you…” she looked at Jonny “An uncle at sixteen. It was nice of McGonagall to let you come and see him”

Alvita: “If McGonagall wouldn’t have let him, I would have pulled him out anyway. No way is he missing the birth of his nephew.”

Dante: He smiled at his daughter proudly, “It feels good to be a granddad, although it might take a little while to get used to it.”

Jonathon: “I’ll be an amazing uncle to this little man,” He said, looking at his sister and the baby in her arms, “And do you know why? Because he’s given me a reason to refer to dad as granddad.”

George: He laughed, “You had better be a good uncle, Jonathon, nothing but the best for this Guy.” He touched Jonathon’s shoulder gently and winked

Angelina: She laughed at her brother and held up the baby. “Want to say hello?”

Alvita: “Carefully though Jonathon.”

Jonathon: He smiled at Angelina and moved closer to her, before scowling at his mother. “Mum, I’m not going to drop him, give me some credit.”

George: “She’s just being a concerned Grandma,” he smirked.

Angelina: She told Jonny what to do before gently lowering Fred into his arms. Fred gave a little stir at the disturbance before falling back into his little sleep, mouth opening in a little ‘o’ as he yawned.

Alvita: Her eyes reddened as Fred was given to her son and she watched him coo over him. She grabbed her husbands arm and started to cry silently.

Dante: He moved closer to his wife, watching what his son was doing.

Jonathon: When Angie passed Fred to him, he couldn’t help but smile. “Hello Fred, I’m your uncle. And I’m going to help you make your parent’s lives hell.”

George: “Ha! Thanks, mate.” he laughed.

Angelina: “Excuse me, my fiancé is number 1 prankster remember?” she winked at him. “Anyway, does this make you want to go back to school and make one of your own with Willow?” she teased.

Alvita: “Angelina! He won’t be doing anything of the sort. Jonathon, you had better not be thinking of making babies with anyone.”

Dante: He looked at his son, “You better hadn’t make any until you’re out of school.”

Jonathan: “Your fiancé is the number one prankster, but what if this little guy wants to prank his father? He can’t exactly ask George for help, can he?” He said, looking at his sister, “But no, this does not make me want to have one of my own.” He turned to look at his parents before continuing, “The activity that makes one sounds fun though.”

George: “I will be very proud the day he starts pulling pranks on me. And I know Fred will be too,” he smiled looking at Angie.

Angelina: Angie was in hysterics at her brother’s innuendo. She was glad that they were close. “As long as it’s not me he’s pranking…”

Alvita: She gave her son a little tap on the shoulder, careful of the baby. “Jonathan! You two are as bad as each other.” She turned to George with a stern face but a smile lay in her eyes, “if that boy ever pranks his Grandmother, I will not be pleased.”

Jonathan: He laughed before cooing over Fred again. “He’ll prank whoever he wants to, because his awesome uncle is going to help him.”

George: “Well if he is anything like his uncle Fred, no one is safe. Sorry Alvita.” He smiled.

Alvita: “I s’pose I will just have to learn some pranks of my own,” she laughed. “Jonathan, why don’t you give Fred to your father.”

Jonathan: “I suppose I could.” He said, passing Fred to his father, “Here you go, granddad.”

Dante: He took his grandson carefully, remembering how to hold a baby properly. “Hello Fred.” he said with a smile, “Don’t you look like your parents?”

George: He looked over to Angie and grinned. “Think we have a future Quidditch player there, Dante?”

Alvita: Alvita went to stand over by Jonathon, putting her arm over his shoulder and kissed his temple. “You will be a great uncle, love.”

Dante: He looked over to George. “Well, with two parents that love the sport, I’m guessing he’ll be a fine quidditch player.”

Jonathan: “I know I will, mum” he said proudly, “And you’ll be an amazing grandma. Although, you won’t be as cool as me.”

George: “He will win us the world cup one day.”

Alvita: She laughed, “of course not, son. And you two, Fred will be whoever he wants.” She gave them a half hearted glare.

Dante: “He can be whoever he wants to be.” He looked at this wife and smiled, “Do you want to hold Fred?”

George: George nodded with a small smile, “of course Alvita.”

Angelina: “Hey, he’s only been here for about twenty bloody minutes!” she exclaimed with a light chuckle. She caught her reflection in the mirror, “Ugh, Mum can I borrow your hairbrush please? I look like Trelawney!” she moaned slightly. She didn’t mind looking like a bit of a state - seeing as she’d just given birth, but hair like a bird’s nest just wasn’t acceptable.

Alvita: “yes, yes. Hand him over.” She grinned, taking her Grandson, “hello precious,” she cooed, holding his little hand. “Oh, yes of course, honey, in my  bag,” she nodded her head in the direction of her bag but kept her focus on little Fred. “It’s Grandma, I don’t think I will ever let you go, ever. Though mummy might not be too happy about that.”

Dante: He walked over to Angie and hugged her tightly. “I’m so proud of you, sweetie.”

George: George picked up Alvita’s handbag and pulled out her brush. “here you go, love. I would do it but I might hurt you, your hair is a state.” he grinned passing Angie the brush.

Angelina: She hugged her father tightly “Thanks Dad. I love you” she gave a mocking glare at George as she snatched the brush from his hand and began tugging it through her knotty locks. “Thank you so much for being here, your support is amazing, especially you, mum” she said, watching her Mother coo over Fred. “we should get Molly and Arthur in…”

Alvita: She smiled at Angie “Okay, you’re right love.” she slowly walked up to George and reluctantly passed him over. “now, George you had better dote on my little girl after this,” she smiled, “and you, little man, had better not give mummy and daddy too much hassle.”  she kissed George on the cheek then went to hug Angie, “you did so well. I love you.”

Dante: Dante nodded at George, “you had better listen to Alvita, don’t want an angry mother in law.” he smiled and said his goodbyes to them before walking his son and wife out of the room. “We’ll tell them to come in. Keep him safe.”

Alvita: Alvita’s arm interlocked with her husbands as they walked out the hospital room. Jonathan strode past them with a grin on his face then went to stand with Ron and Ginny, starting a rather loud conversation about how cute his new nephew is.  ”Molly, you and Arthur may go in now,” she said, touching Molly’s arm gently with a smile of utter happiness.

Molly: “Thank you Alvita,” she said, rushing into the room and making her way over to the bed. “Congratulations Angie, dear.” She said with a huge smile.

Arthur: He stood beside his wife with a ridiculous grin on his face. “What a beauty,” he cooed.

Molly: “He’s such a beautiful baby,” she said, pulling out a handkerchief and dabbing her eyes, “He’ll be a heartbreaker when he’s older.”

Angelina: She looked up at George who was now holding their child proudly. “Oh Molly I’m just…it’s so emotional. I just want to stare at him forever.” she said, sipping at a glass of water. “Although I do wonder how you managed to go through labour six times! You must be a woman of steel!”

George: George touched Fred’s hand gently then addressed both his parents, “want to hold him?”

Molly: She looked at George and smiled. “Of course I want to hold my grandson!”

Arthur: Arthur grinned and leaned in to mutter affectionately “My wife is nothing if not a woman of steel,” to Angelina.

Angelina: “I heartily agree, Arthur.” she beamed up at her future father-in-law

George: he slowly passed Fred to his mother, careful to support every part of his small body. “Angie was so good; I’m in awe of what you women do.”

Molly: “You should be in awe George, giving birth is hard work, but it’s always worth it.” She took her grandson from George and rocked him gently. “Oh Arthur,” she said, staring down at her grandson, “Look how handsome he is.”

Arthur: He put a hand on Molly’s back and leaned in slightly to look at his grandson. His eyes welled with tears. “Little Fred…” he whispered with both joy and sadness but, despite the tears, he was smiling. “What a beautiful child you two made.”

Angelina: Angie looked on at her future in-law’s, the smile on her face didn’t cease. It completely tugged on her heart to see them cooing over their grandson. “Thank you..”

George: He looked at his dad and smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder, “uncle Fred is looking down and keeping this little boy safe.” he whispered with sadness in his voice.

Molly: Molly became entranced by Fred, ignoring the people around her as she spoke in a whisper to her grandson.

Arthur: He looked up to George and smiled with pride. Of course, he still missed his son Fred but even the tears in his eyes couldn’t take away from this beautiful life.

George: George looked over at Angie, noticing how tired she looked. “I’m hoping they will let us take him home as soon as possible but the midwife didn’t say anything about it.”

Molly: She stroked Fred’s little tuft of hair, “as long as baby and mummy are okay they should let her go once they are sure she has a good rest. When I had you and Fred, they wouldn’t let me leave for three days, but there were two of you.”

Arthur: He chuckled. “You should have seen your mother. She threw an absolute fit. She just wanted to get the two of you home and into the cribs she’d made up.”

George: “I expect nothing less from mum,” he laughed.

Molly: “Ssh George. Angelina will be no different; she will want to get out of here as soon as she can. All new mothers are the same.” She gave Angie a reassuring smile.

Arthur: He took a step back and sat down on a chair near the bed, watching his family with all its additions.

Angelina: “I just want to get home to our bed. These things are so uncomfortable…” she said, shifting about trying to get comfortable. “plus I want to get Fred all tucked up nicely in his crib. I can’t wait.” her eyes glittered.

George: “Neither can I, hospitals aren’t the most jolly of places.” He gave Angie a soft smile, “we will have him home in no time.”

Molly: “you have a whole waiting room full of people wanting to meet this little fella. Arthur do you want to have a quick hold and then we will leave them?”  She smiled sympathetically at Angie, “try not to get overwhelmed by all the people, dear. And the moment you’ve had enough and get too tired just say.”

Arthur: “No, thank you. Not today. The little guy needs some rest. He’ll grow to love this face soon enough,” he teased.

Angelina: “He will indeed, Arthur” she said with a smile “Thank you both for everything”

George: “If you say so, dad,” he laughed, “I think it is just more a case of him growing to get used to it.”

Molly: She nodded to Arthur, “you are probably right, dear.” She slowly passed Fred back to his mum and kissed her forehead. “If you need anything, anything. Just let us know, okay?” She beckoned for Arthur to come to her side. “I’ll get your sister, brother and Harry in.” She gave George one of her huge motherly hugs and shuffled her and Arthur out of the door, blowing them both a kiss as they did.

Arthur: He gave George a look before he wrapped his arm around Molly and walked out the door with her.

Molly: Molly stepped out of the room followed closely by Arthur, and made her way over to where Ron and Ginny were standing. “You two and Harry can go in now,” she said with a huge smile.

Ron: Ron beamed as his parents came out of the delivery room. “What’s he like?” Molly gave him a look and motioned for him to go in; he smiled and walked through the door. “Hi.”

George: He chuckled as his brother came into the room, “hey, Ron. Come meet your nephew.”

Ginny: “‘Scuse me,” she said in a singsong voice and wedged herself between Ron’s side and the door before slipping entirely into the room. Ginny gave a small wave to the little tyke and mouthed a hello.   “Thank Merlin Angie’s gorgeous George,” she said nudging George with her shoulder.

Harry: “Yeah I second that. Who knows what the little man would’ve looked like if he got his dad’s looks..” Harry teased, winking at George and clapping him on the shoulder. “Nah mate, well done. He’s lovely”

Ron: Ron, walked over to his elder brother and went to shake his hand but instead pulled him into a huge hug, “Congrats, George.” He pulled back and got a closer look at Fred. He let out a strange gasp then laughed, “very handsome,” he cooed kissing Angie on the cheek.

George: He watched his sister and brother in law make their way into the room as he grinned like the proud new father he is. “No, you’re right. it is a good job Angie is as stunning as she is,” he smiled then grunted as Ron bear hugged him. “Thanks, Ron. He’s perfect.”

Angelina: “Aww thanks Gin, bless you” she said softly. She held Fred out for Ginny to hold and beamed as she took him carefully into her arms.

Harry: Harry approached his wife from behind and rested his chin upon her shoulder, watching little Fred’s bright blue eyes gaze up at them as Ginny rocked him gently back and forth. He smiled lovingly down at the child, reaching out to lightly stroke his little nose.

Ron:  Ron watched Fred be carefully passed to Ginny before turning to Angie, “so, er…was it hard?’ he went bright red as he said it and shifted awkwardly on his feet.

George: “You two look good with a baby,” he smiled at his sister and brother in law. he then burst into laughter at Ron’s comment, “what do you think Won Won?”

Angelina: She nodded, agreeing with George’s comment on Ginny and Harry before sending him a little scolding look for teasing Ron. “He’s only interested, George” she looked back to a blushing Ron, smiling warmly. “To be completely frank, Ron… Imagine trying to squeeze an orange out of your crown jewels” she said, giggling.

George: “Okay, love. I’m sorry Won Won,” he smirked, winking at Ginny.

Harry: He gave his wife a squeeze, a secret way of agreeing with George as he placed his other arm about her waist as they swayed lightly, rocking their nephew.

Ron: He looked up at George, his ears red, “my name isn’t Won Won.” He quickly turned to Angie, “sorry.”

Angelina: “Don’t be sorry, silly. George is just being a git.” she said, winking at her fiancé.

George: He laughed and smirked at Ron, “sorry mate, its was a stupid question though.”

Harry: He snorted at the mini bicker going on behind him and turned around “Hey Ron, you should come and have a quick hold, I’m sure poor Angie’s tired and there are more people to come say hello, too” he said, pushing the frame of his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

Ron: Ron nodded and glared at George. “Okay, hand him over then,” he held out his arms and took Fred carefully. “Alright, mate? I’m uncle Ron, the best uncle at out the lot. Uncle Harry’s a bit naff, “he smirked. “Uncle Charlie is a idiot and Uncle Bill, well he is okay but nothing compared to me.”

Angelina: Angie’s cheeks were beginning to become sore with all the smiling, but she didn’t care. “Bless him, he’s falling asleep. I guess now we know who to call on in the middle of the night when he won’t sleep….” she chuckled.

George: George watched his brother and smiled contently. “Yes, Ron is on night duty.”

Harry: “Too bad mate!” he chortled, patting his mate on the back.

Ron: Ron huffed, “no, that is you two’s job.”

Ginny: “Stay still Ronald,” she scolded with a hushed voice watching as Fred’s eyes fluttered shut. “And ‘the best uncle’ gets night duty,” she whispered with a faint laugh.

Harry: “Nice try..” he snickered, stealing a smooch off’ his redhead. He turned and saw Angie yawn, “Right, well I think that’s our cue to leave. You must be extremely knackered, Ang” he said, pecking her forehead. “Well done you love, he’s beautiful. Congratulations”

Ron: Ron frowned as Harry said it was their cue to leave, he looked down at Fred and smirked, “I’ll be back.”  He then slowly walked over to Angie and passed him back, “nice job…on you know…having him,” he went red again and bowed his head.

Angelina: She beamed up at Harry and Ron, gently taking a snoozing Fred back into her arms. “Thank you, all of you have been so great to me throughout this pregnancy, I really appreciate it.”

George: He gave them all a thankful smile, “you really have all been great, yes, even you Ron.” He laughed and winked at him.

Harry: He chuckled as he escorted his wife and best mate from the room, turning once more to give a little wave. “We’ll see you at home” he said, the last to go through the door.

Ron: Ron walked out of the room, straight to his mum, completely ignoring Blaise and Astoria. “He is so small,” he cooed to Molly.

Harry: Harry came out of the delivery room, arms tight around his wife and nuzzling into her ear. “I want one of those…” he murmured, grinning widely.

Ginny: Ginny pinched her husband’s arm playfully, giggling softly as she did. “We’ll work on that…” she said loud enough for only him to hear with a coy smile. She stopped walking in front of the other couple and smiled politely. “You can go in now,” she said to Astoria and Blaise.

Astoria: Astoria had watched the three of them closely as they walked out of the door, praying that they would be invited in before Hermione and Draco. She smiled sweetly to Ginny, “thanks.” She stood and looked at Blaise, “come on.”

Blaise: Blaise got up and gave a slight nod. “Oh…right…uh, yeah….” he shoved his hands into his pockets and looked over at Draco before walking over to the door.

Astoria: Astoria walked into the delivery room and grinned as soon as she saw the little bundle in Angies arms.  She mouthed hello to George and walked up to the bed. The tuff of dark auburn hair stuck out from the blankets and she met his striking eyes, “Merlin, Angie. He is gorgeous.”

Angelina: She grinned up at her friends as they entered the room and leant up slightly to peck them on the cheek. “Thank you… He definitely takes after his father.” she looked down at her son “Now Fred sweetie, this is your Aunty Tori and she’s very special because she’s your godmother…” she whispered. “and she’s not going to teach you swear words or let you have as much candy as you want or let you sip from her wine glass… Is she?” she concluded, looking up at Astoria and winking at her.

George: George Smiled at Astoria and gave Blaise a small, friendly nod. He laughed with Angie as she spoke and poured her some water.

Blaise: He wasn’t paying too much attention to the adults in the room. In fact, all of his attention was set on the beautiful baby in her arms. He seemed almost in awe. He’d always wondered how a little person could be so tiny. He slowly smiled, just watching the baby affectionately, keeping quiet.

Astoria: she laughed, “Oh no, I would never.” She gently touched his little hand that had crept out from under the blanket, “hello, handsome. You certainly give your daddy a run for his money don’t you?” She grinned, looking up at Angie and kissed her cheek, “I’m so happy for you.”

Angelina:She nodded in agreement, smiling affectionately at George before lowering the baby into Tori’s arms. “Here, have a cuddle…”

George: He watched Blaise for a moment, almost in shock of his reaction to Fred. “I agree with you on that, Astoria.”  He held out the cup of water to Angie as she passed Fred to Astoria.

Blaise: He leaned over Astoria’s shoulder, gently putting a finger down to touch one of his tiny little hands.

Astoria: She smiled; “are you sure?” she asked a bit wary but then took him in her arms gently. “wow. Hello, Fred,” she whispered, smiling down at him. When Blaise came to her side she grinned, watching him coo over the baby. “You must be shattered, Angie.”

Angelina: “I am. But it’s alright, you lot have been waiting a long time to meet him.” she said, giving them a reassuring smile. “So, are you sure you don’t want children, Tori?”

George:“You have to get used to holding him at some point, Astoria,” he chuckled. A content smile swept his lips as he looked at them cooing over Fred.

Astoria:“I think a Godson will do at the moment, Angie,” she whispered with a smirk, rocking Fred a little.

Angelina: She let out a soft giggle, smiling up at Blaise and his surprising warm interest in Fred. “I’m sure we’ll be hearing the pitter patter of little Greengrasses one day… Or should I say Zabini’s?” she added slyly, smirking cheekily.

George: George smiled and sat on the bed next to her.

Astoria: She looked up at Blaise then smiled, “shut up Angie,” she laughed.

Blaise: Blaise looked up at them and seemed to get brought back to reality. “Huh?” he asked softly before he looked to Astoria. He slowly smiled and looked back at Fred. “It’s completely up to her,” he whispered. “I think we’d have pretty beautiful babies, if I say so myself. I mean, look at who the mum would be…”

Astoria: She hid a huge smile from Blaise’s words by looking down at Fred again. “Well, this little boy is rather breathtaking,  himself. And I don’t care if mummy likes it or not, you are getting spoilt by me.”

Angelina: She giggled. “Don’t spoil him too much, Tori he’ll never want to leave you!”

George: “He will always want to come home to his mummy,” he reassured her. “Well his mum and his awesome dad.”

Blaise: He smiled, “I have to say that George is right…this little one’s going to get pampered within an inch of his little life.”

Astoria: Astoria looked up at Blaise, “do you want to hold him?”

Angelina:Angie smiled at George, reaching out for him to kiss him sweetly. “His very awesome Daddy” she agreed.

George: “Very very awesome,” he smiled as he kissed her back. “And Astoria. Thanks for getting hold of everyone for us.”

Blaise: He looked at the baby nervously before he slowly smiled and nodded. “Yeah, yeah I’d really like that…”

Astoria: she smiled and slowly passed Fred to him, “got him?” she grinned, standing rather close to him just in case he dropped him.

Angelina: “Bless him” she said under her breath “He’s going to sleep so well in that crib you bought him, Blaise. That was ever so thoughtful of you…”

George:“It really was very kind of you. Angie has had it made for weeks now, though there isn’t much room for Fred to sleep in it,  it’s almost filled with all the cuddly toys Astoria has bought him.”

Blaise: He smiled rather shyly, “I got him,” he whispered to Astoria before he glanced up at Angelina and George. “Well, the babe has to have a nice thing to sleep in…and…I know that personally, sleep’s one of my favourite pastimes,” he gave them a crooked smile.

Astoria:She nodded at Blaise and smiled, moving to put her arm around his waist so she could still coo over Fred. “I may have got a bit carried away with the toys. And he’s right. Blaise doesn’t do much else but sleep,” she teased, “he is pretty much a baby himself.”

Angelina: Angie laughed heartily at her friends. “Well I hope that Fred likes his sleep as much as you do” she said.

George: He laughed and watched Blaise very carefully. “I hope so too, but we have Ron to deal with the night shift anyway.”

Blaise:He chuckled, smiling down at little Fred. “He’s one lucky little bloke.”

Astoria: she looked up at Angie and mouthed ‘how cute is Blaise?’ before laughing a bit. “If you guys need anything else for him, just let me know, yeah?”

Angelina: She nodded, grinning at Tori as she watched Blaise. “Oh don’t be silly Tori, I couldn’t do that. Besides, we already have everything we need” she said politely.

George:“You have been generous enough, both of you,” he smiled.

Blaise: He looked up at the other couple, “Well, if anything were to come up…” he said, giving a slight nod before gazing back down at the baby. “Hmm, I think the baby wants to go back to Mum.”

Astoria: She smiled, rubbing Blaise’s back a little, “we should probably go, you look shattered and Draco and Granger are still outside.”

Angelina: She reached out and took her baby back into her arms. “Thank you both so much for being here.” she turned to Tori “and you, Godmum. For keeping your cool when I went into labour”

George:He watched Blaise pass Fred to Angie and then smiled at Astoria,  ”thanks for getting in contact with me and everyone so quickly.”

Blaise: Blaise watched baby Fred get passed back to his mum and let out a little sigh, though he smiled at them and gave a slight nod. “Right…well….” he held out his hand for Astoria’s.

Astoria: She took Blaises hand and gave it a light squeeze before leaning over the bed to kiss Angies cheeks then do the same to George. “I wasn’t cool, I was freaking out,” she laughed. “Congratulations, he is beautiful,” she smiled, leading Blaise out of the room.

Angelina: She watched the pair and lifted up Fred’s tiny hand and waved it. “Bye Aunty Tori and Uncle Blaise” she giggled before blowing a kiss at her friends.

Astoria: Holding Blaise’s hand with a grin on her face she whispered to him, “go tell Draco and Granger.” She looked over to them, caught Draco’s eyes then kissed Blaise’s check before letting go of him and walking over to congratulate Angies parents.

Blaise: Blaise nodded and meandered over to Draco and Hermione, giving them both a crooked smile. “You two can go in now,” he said with a slight nod of his head back towards the door. Hermione beamed as she stood up and held out her hand for Draco’s.

Draco: Draco stood and slid his hand naturally into Hermione’s. “Thanks, mate,” he said, looking kind of wide eyed and awkward

Hermione: She smiled at him before she went into the room. She grinned crookedly, “Hey you two,” she beamed, “Look at that beautiful baby!”

Angelina: “Hello you, long time no see honey. How have you both been?” she beamed up at the couple, beckoning them over “Come and say hello and show me that ring!”

George: George gave both of them friendly nods, “hey.”

Draco: He gave an awkward wave and stood just inside the door, letting Hermione do the girl thing.

Hermione: She grinned as she walked over to them both, kissing George on the cheek and then leaning down and doing the same to Angie. “I know! I’ve missed you both terribly,” she responded, looking down at the baby. She beamed and gently kissed him on the forehead. “I’ve been so busy with work and everything else…” she said, though she looked guilty and sounded apologetic. She really had missed seeing them. She blushed as she held out her left hand, biting her lip. She still felt incredibly modest about the whole thing.

Angelina: She beckoned Draco to come in to the room and see the baby before grabbing Hermione’s hand and inspecting the ring, gasping lightly. “That’s bloody beautiful, ‘mione. Congratulations again”

George: He smiled on at the two witches, his baby nestled in between them, sleeping soundly. He chuckled lightly.

Draco: Draco stepped forward awkwardly. He didn’t feel like he should be there. Seeing George and Angelina like that made him rethink the idea of babies. He would be a horrible father… Hermione would be brilliant but he’d be a piece of shit… He swallowed hard and sort of leaned around to look at the sleeping wrinkled mess of baby. It wasn’t very attractive… Why was everyone fawning? He kept his mouth shut, his thoughts to himself, and his expression neutral. He didn’t understand babies. He never would. The only thing he understood was doting and buying rings much larger than necessary.

Hermione: She got even redder if that was even possible. “Oh, hush,” she whispered. “Today’s your day. He really is completely precious,” she grinned. She looked up at Draco and bit her lip. She wanted a baby sometime in the future, it had always been in her plan…but she wasn’t sure what Draco would want…she realised the importance then of having that talk with him.

Angelina: She kissed Fred’s forehead before gently thrusting the baby into Hermione’s arms. “It was extremely difficult. But we got there in the end didn’t we honey?” she said, smiling at George. “and when he was in my arms, nothing else mattered. He’s perfect”

George: George nodded, “he is perfect just like his mum.” He couldn’t help gushing over her or Fred. Angies strength had astounded him, he felt so much love for her that he found it almost impossible to stop smiling.

Draco: He pushed his hands into his pockets and shifted awkwardly. He glanced around the room at each of the faces. “You look like someone sewed your mouth open,” he mumbled a bit to George when he saw his fatherly grin. All this love and doting over a newborn was making him really uncomfortable. In his upbringing, he’d never experienced such love.

Hermione: She let out a soft noise of surprise as she felt the baby in her arms and she found herself gazing down at him. She felt herself get all misty-eyed. “Hey there little baby,” she whispered to him. “Little Fred,” she added, kissing his forehead gently. She cradled him in her arms, looking over at Draco and giving him a look.

Angelina: She looked on as Hermione cradled little Fred. “You look like a natural yourself ‘mione” she spoke warmly what she was thinking, a smile never leaving her lips.

George: George nodded, “you really do. I guess we have another doting woman to add to the list,” he teased.

Hermione:  She smiled, “Thanks,” she said softly to Angie and George. “I used to babysit all the time in the summer.”

Angelina: “Definitely…” she agreed chuckling lightly.

George: “We have another babysitter, Angie,” he laughed. “What about you Ma-Draco, any good with babies?”

Draco: He gave George a wide eyed look. “I’ve never really… seen one up close, to be honest. It’s sort of wigging me out. It’s so small and wrinkly.”

Hermione: She snorted, “Small and wrinkly?! Draco!”

Angelina: Angie giggled at Draco “He’s not wrinkly really, Draco. His skin is really soft actually… You should try holding him?” she encouraged lightly.

George: George looked a bit offended by Draco’s words but tried to cover it with a chuckle.

Draco: His eyes widened. “Me. Hold him. Heh. No thanks. Probably not a good idea.” He glanced at George. He knew offense when he saw it. He was used to it.

Hermione: Hermione grinned as she looked over at Draco and moved closer to him, “Come on, luv, I’ll hold him too…”

Angelina: She smiled up at him and Hermione urging her on to let him hold the baby, a little curious as to how he would react.

George: He smiled at Draco sympathetically, “we really shouldn’t press him on it. If he doesn’t want to, then he doesn’t want to.”

Draco: He shook his head, taking a few steps back.. “Eh. I better not…”

Hermione: She nodded, “That’s true…..alright,” she smiled at Draco and gave a slight nod before she handed the baby back to his mother. “Alright, luv, well, I suppose we should be going, give you some rest,” she said to Angie, leaning down and kissing her cheek before she went to embrace George. “I’ll see you all soon?” she asked, looking between them.

Draco: He gave an awkward chuckle. “Thanks, er… George. Bye, Angelina. … Bye, baby,” he said awkwardly.

Welcome to the World Baby Weasley! Part 3

George: George couldn’t keep still, he was either sitting down fidgeting, kept walking back and forth the room or stood on Angie’s bedside while holding her hand and giving her an occasional peck on the forehead. Not long now he would be a father, it hadn’t sunk in fully yet… He leaned in on Angie’s ears, smiled and whispered “You’re going to be a Mum.”

Angelina: The contractions weren’t too close together as of yet but were still painful as ever. Angie’s brow was covered in a thin layer of sweat as she sunk back into the pillows of the bed and took deep breath’s as she was told to do. She leant into George’s embraces, thankful for his love and support. A smile etched onto her face, the pain didn’t concern her at all when she thought about what she would have at the end of it all. Her child. Their child. “And you’re going to be a Daddy..” she whispered in reply, reaching up to lightly stroke his cheek.

Midwife: “Okay now, Angelina, we might have a short wait before this little mans here.” She waved her wand, over Angelina’s stomach, “Everything looks fine, but I just wanted to ask if you wanted any sort of pain relief, so that I can give you some now.” She smiled reassuringly at the couple in front of her, waiting for a response.

George: “Are you sure you don’t want anything?” A small crease formed as he looked at his fiancé. “I don’t think the little bugger would want his Mum to be in so much pain.. nor do I.” He said with a soft smile.

Angelina: Angie braced herself as another contraction hit. The pain seared through her and she quickly grabbed for George’s hand, puffing heavily. She shook her head, wanting the birth to be as natural as possible, though the piercing scream that escaped her said otherwise.

Midwife: “Well, if you’re sure you don’t want anything, then I’m going to do a couple more checks,” She smiled at the couple again, before waving her wand over Angelina and her bump. She took down a couple of notes, before turning to speak to Angelina and George. “Like I said, everything is fine at the moment, but your contractions may start to get closer together now. So I’ll keep an eye on that. Just say if you want anything for the pain though.”

Alvita: “Angie, Angie?” She barged into the room, with a huff and then smiled as she saw her daughter. “Oh, love. How are you? Silly question.” She gave George a kiss on the cheek then walked round to the other side of Angie. “Your dad and Jonathan are outside waiting. Actually a lot of people are waiting.” She stroked Angie’s head then kissed her forehead, “want to hold my hand, love?”

Angelina: Angie opened her eyes to see her mother bounding into the room, full of beans. She couldn’t help but smile at her full on attentiveness, that was her mother alright! “Mum… calm down. I’m okay… I have George’s hand to squeeze to death” she joked lightly, giving a warm glance in her fiancé’s direction. “Nurse… I think… is the gas still available?” she held hung her head in a little guilt. She had wanted to do everything naturally… but was now reconsidering. “Also George, help me get into my nighty honey… I’m not comfortable” she huffed and puffed, bracing herself for her next contraction.

Midwife: “I’ll get the gas ready while you change.” She smiled at Angelina before busying herself.

Alvita: She gave George a smile, “okay, I suppose it is his job, but you’re my baby and you’re in pain. I can’t help it, You’ll know what I mean soon enough.” She let out a little laugh and gave the midwife a warm and excited smile, “I’m going to be a grandma.”

George: He took out Angie’s clothes from the bag which Alvita brought in. It’s a good thing Ginny knew where to find Angie’s things, he thought.

As he helped Angie up, he couldn’t help but chuckle while he imagined his Mum waiting outside with the everyone else. “I think almost everyone’s outside already. Mum’s probably fixing Harry’s hair or straightening Ron’s coat just to keep her busy.”

Angelina: She shuffled out’ve her maternity jeans, tunic and underwear, not caring about the company, before holding her arms out for George to slip her nighty over hear head. “I can’t believe they’re all here already, he might not arrive for ages!” she said, flattered by their support and anticipation. “Oh god, does that mean that Hermione and Draco are in the same room as Tori?” she huffed, placing her hands on the mattress, breathing heavily

Alvita: “It is a bit awkward out there. But they will just have to deal with it, until this little fella arrives. Now, sweetie, have you got everything you need, want some water, pillows?” She asked, giving her daughter a warm smile.

George: “Besides, I don’t reckon anyone would try to do anything funny, not with my parents and your Dad out there at least.” He mirrored Alvita’s warm smile while magically folding Angie’s worn clothes and placing them back inside the bag. “Or some ice cream perhaps?” George asked, raising one eyebrow as he teased his fiance.

Angelina: “I don’t think ice cream is going to work this time honey…” she said, swaying her hips and bending her knees with her eyes closed, hands still clutching the blanket on the bed, trying to ease the pain. “Perhaps a little water please Mum, I’m a little bit ho- OWWWWWW!! MERLINS SAGGY TESTICLE OUCH!” she doubled over in pain “G-GEORGE…. MUM, OW!”

Midwife: “Angelina, if you still want it, the gas is all set up now,” she said, holding out the mouthpiece, “It won’t completely stop the pain, but it will take the edge off.” She smiled at Angelina again, before glancing at George and Alvita, “It will work best if you start to take deep and even breaths the second you feel a contraction coming and keep doing that until it stops. You may feel lightheaded when you do so dear, but that just means its doing it’s job.”

Alvita: she stroked Angie’s head. “I know it hurts, baby. I know.” She looked at the midwife, “I think you should take the gas, you don’t want to be in pain if you don’t have to be.”

Angelina: Angie grabbed the tube as soon as it was in reach and began breathing in the gas frantically, trying to dull the excruciating pain that was riddling her. She glanced at the mediwitch with apologetic eyes for snatching the thing out’ve her hands so suddenly, before whimpering into her mother and holding out her hand for George. She was seriously doubting her ability to do this…

George: He immediately grabbed Angie’s hand, silently reassuring her that he will be with her until the baby was born. How he wish he could do something… anything… to ease her pain. Turning to the mediwitch, he asked “Isn’t there any spell to make the pain completely stop?”

Midwife: “There are a couple of spells which can numb the pain completely for a short while.” She said to George in a helpful manner, “However, we can’t perform them without Angelina’s consent.”

George: George wiped the perspiration out of Angie’s forehead and stroked her cheek while he pleaded, “Honey, do you really want to go through with giving birth naturally? You know you don’t have to… it won’t make you less of a mother if you ask for some help to relieve the pain. It’s enough that you’ve carried him around for 9 months, a little help during his birth won’t hurt. Please? I don’t like seeing you in so much pain…”

Angelina: “But…. I wanted… To do it… Naturally, George! It’s…. Important… To me” she panted in-between breaths on the gas, whimpering. “I want to… get up… on the bed, please.”

George: He let out a small sigh and then smiled. “Alright, natural it is.” Then helped her carefully get up with one hand holding Angie’s and the other wrapped around her waist

Angelina: She clambered up onto the bed with George’s help, constantly breathing in the gas. “I want to push… Mum! Ow shit… When can I push I want to push!” she babbled, panting heavily.

Midwife: “Don’t push yet, Angelina.” She said, running her wand over Angelina’s stomach, “You’re almost completely dilated, so your baby will be here soon. Just keep taking the gas and make yourself comfortable while I quickly prep everything I need.”

Alvita: She stroked Angies head, soothing her and helping her with he breathing. “Not long now, honey.”

Angelina: The gas began to fully kick in, leaving Angie in a tipsy like state. She hung her head back giving a small cry of frustration. “Mummy! Please let me push… I can’t help it!” she said in a child like manner, an effect of the gas.

Midwife: “Okay Angelina, I need you to move your legs now.” She said, moving to the end of the bed with the equipment she needed, “They need to apart and in a comfortable position, so you can push soon.”

Alvita: “Come on, love.” She helped get Angies legs on the stirrups and kissed her cheek. “Just listen to the midwife, and don’t push until she says.”

George: George kissed Angies hand and looked at the midwife, “can she push yet? she really wants to.”

Angelina: She huffed and puffed as her legs were put in the stirrups, gripping onto George’s hand. “Make sure…you stay up this end…please”

Midwife: She examined Angelina once she was in position, before looking at her. “Okay Angelina, next time you feel a contraction, I want you to push.”

George: He laughed a little as Angie took his hand, “I will stay put, promise.” He rubbed her hand gently with a grin on his face, looking to the midwife. “He is ready to meet us then?”

Angelina: “Well it bloody well feels that way, honey!” she shouted, before taking a deep pull on the gas tube and pushing with all her might as the next contraction hit. “Aarnngghhh!”

Midwife: “This is the hardest part, Angelina, so I need to keep pushing,” she said calmly, trying to encourage her, “He’s beginning to crown now.”

Alvita: she grinned, “you can do it, honey. Push.”

Angelina: She continued to push as hard as she could through gritted teeth. The pain was unbearable and she screamed whole-heartedly until the contraction was finished and she was panting for Hogwarts. “Please tell me that I don’t have to do that again!”

Midwife: “Unfortunately, you need to push again, Angelina.” She said seriously, “We need to get his shoulders out. Once they’re out though, it’ll be easy, and you’ll have your son.” When she finished speaking, she smiled at Angelina encouragingly

George: The midwife’s words made him grin, “you can do it love, hold tight onto my hand and push.” He bit on his lip, wishing he could do something more than just stand there.

Angelina: She was becoming very tired indeed, the thought of pushing more mixed in with all the pain made her want to pass out. But as her father had taught her through her many gruelling Quidditch training years: ‘If you don’t beat the bludgers, you won’t catch the snitch’. So she took in another deep breath, clenched George’s hand in a death grip and- “Nnnnaaaarrrrrggghhh!!!!”

Midwife: She held out her hands, holding onto Fred as Angelina pushed for the last time. Fred’s cry echoed around the room as he slid into the midwife’s hands. She quickly cut the cord and wrapped him in a towel before taking him to be weighed and cleaned up. “Congratulations Angelina and George,” she said as she placed him on the scaled to be weighed, “You have a healthy 7lb 8 oz baby boy.” The midwife quickly cleaned up Fred, and wrapped him in a blue blanket before taking him back to Angelina and placing him on her chest

Alvita: Alvita let out a loud gasp as soon as she heard her Grandson cry, tears streaming down her face. “Oh, love. You did so well.” She kissed Angie on the cheek, “I’m so proud,” she looked to George, “of both of you.”

George: George pulled a face as Angie squeezed it and pushed. The next thing he heard was the cry of his son, “Angie, you did it!” He grinned, watching the midwife weigh and clean him, George’s eyes, unable to move from the small bundle. As Fred was placed on Angies chest, he bent down and lightly touched the blanket, “hello mate. I’m your dad.”

Angelina: She reached out for her baby, all pain and tiredness being automatically pushed aside. He was all that mattered. As soon as she saw his tiny face and auburn hair, her eyes watered and she couldn’t contain her happiness and relief. He was here. Fred Weasley II. As she cradled him close to her chest, Angie stroked her fingers over his tiny hand, tears now running freely down her face. “Hello baby…”

Midwife: “I’ll give you guys some time with your new son, so you can bond and show him off,” she said, walking to the door, “If you need anything, just yell, and someone will come running.”

Alvita: “Thank you,” she smiled to the midwife before her gaze quickly fell back to Fred, taking in his little body. “i guess I’m going to have to start getting used to being called Grandma.”

George: “Angie, how the hell did we make something so beautiful?” He lifted his head and caught Angies eyes, “I love you. Thank you.”

Angelina: She pressed her lips to the baby’s forehead and smiled up at George. “Well you are his daddy…” she said in a hushed voice, not wanting to disturb her son. She was in complete awe… George was right. He was beautiful.

Alvita: “You handled that better than I ever did, I think I cursed your father to kingdom come when I had you. Do you need some water?”

George: His eyes began to well up as he studied his sons face. He gently stroked his finer along Fred’s hand, noticing the contrast in colours.”look, he is the perfect mix of both of us,” he whispered smiling.

Angelina: “I know… red hair and dark skin go well” she said, grinning at him. “Some water and… I don’t think they sell ice cream here, do they? I’ll settle for some sugar quills though, please Grandma” she smiled up at her Mother and grabbed her hand. “Thank you for your support, Mumma Johnson. I love you”

Alvita: “I love you too, honey. I’m so proud. Now, there is water right here,” She poured Angie a cup. ” I’m sure they do, do ice cream but the second I go out there they are going to ask questions.”

George: George looked up as Alvita was speaking, “are you saying we should put them all out of their misery and let them know he his here? It’s up to Angie, reckon you can cope?”

Angelina: The palm of her hand rubbed small, soft circles over Fred’s back instinctively as she considered. “Well I managed childbirth so I’m sure that I can get through a few visits honey” she teased. “It’s alright by me. They’ve been waiting so patiently, I’m sure they want to meet him…”

Alvita: she smiled and held the cup to her daughter mouth, knowing she wouldn’t want to let go of her son to drink. “Brace yourself then, love,” she laughed.

George: “Okay then, if you’re sure.” He kissed Angies forehead and stood up, “I’ll bring your clan in first, Alvita.” George smiled and looked down at his son again before pushing the door open and shouting to the waiting room.

Welcome to the World Baby Weasley! Part 2

Astoria: Grabbing parchment and a pen, Astoria wrote out several notes all saying the same. Angie has gone into labour; her and George are at St Mungo’s. She wasn’t really sure what to put but she signed them and gave them to a maid to owl off immediately. She took a breath then left the room and walked up the stairs to the bedroom. “Blaise! Wake the fuck up.” She demanded hitting his arm, “I’m going to the hospital. Angie has gone into labour.”

Blaise: “Ow!” Blaise groaned, sitting up. “Bloody hell! I was having a good dream,” he grunted, rubbing his eyes. “Whachoosay?” he slurred, trying to wake up enough that he could figure out what she was on about.

Astoria:She huffed, “Angie has gone into labour. I’m going to the hospital….and come to think of it, so are you. No way am I sitting in a waiting room fully of Weasley’s by myself. Up, come on.” She hit him again then walked away, chucking clothes at him to put on.

Blaise: He slid out of bed to put on the clothes, “Gods, you don’t have to bloody hit me!” he called out after her, grumpy.

Astoria: She rolled her eyes and grabbed a bag. “Can we really not have an argument now?” She walked back over to him, straightened up his shirt and took his hand, apparating them to the hospital.  She did a quick scan of the sighs and walked to the maternity ward, still holding Blaise’s hand. “Try your best not to give anyone the evils,” she asked before sitting down in the waiting room.

Blaise: “You started it,” he mumbled softly. When they got there, he nodded, sitting down next to her. “I won’t give anyone any evils,” he said.

Molly: “Tut tut” she said on her arrival to the waiting room, seeing Astoria and Blaise already inside. She looked down her nose at the pair and pursed her lips before sitting at the opposite side of the room.

Arthur: Arthur Weasley sat beside his wife feeling quite nervous and excited. He bounced slightly in his seat and kept twisting this way and that, waiting impatiently for any news.

Ginny:Following after Molly and Arthur, she smiled politely at the two other occupants already seated. She chose to remain standing near the end of the seats where her parents sat and busied herself with watching people run across the halls

Harry: Harry flooed along with Ron from the ministry as soon as they received Astoria’s owl. Striding out of the fireplace, he gave Molly and Arthur a warm smile and nodded in the direction of Astoria and Zabini before approaching his wife and enveloping her in his arms with a grin.

Ron: Ron followed closely behind Harry with a smile on his face; it fell as soon as his eyes caught Zabini. He swallowed and gave Astoria a stiff smile, walking over to his mum and giving her a kiss on the cheek. His eyes kept darting to a clock on the wall as he started a conversation with Harry about work

The Johnson’s: With a huge smile mixed with worry, Alvita, her husband, Dante and their son, Jonathon, arrived in the waiting room. She did a quick hello to the Weasleys and walked straight into the room to be by her daughter. Dante and his son awkwardly said hello to the others in the room before sitting down engaging in small talk with Arthur and Molly.

Hermione: Hermione slipped in soon after, pushing her gloves into her pockets as she had just taken them off upon her arrival. She bit her lip nervously, her shoes clanking against the polished floor. She looked from side to side as she wandered into the waiting room, looking to Ron and Harry. She was a bit hesitant to go near them, as she hadn’t talked to Ron in awhile considering their conversation about her engagement to Draco. The idea that she couldn’t dart over to them was painful.

Draco: Draco cleared his throat, shoving his hands into his pockets. His face was still sour from his argument with Hermione about whether or not he had to come. He lost. As his eye took in the scene, he was glad to see that Blaise was there but less than pleased to see him so close beside Astoria. He felt rather estranged since he couldn’t really bound over to them and sling his arms over their shoulders like he had many years ago. His eyes strayed across the gathered company and he caught a harsh gaze coming from Arthur Weasley. It’d been quite a while seen he’d seen such a look. It seemed he’d always be running from his past. He shifted awkwardly, standing slightly behind Hermione. She may have won the argument, but he was right. He wasn’t wanted there. He looked back to Blaise and chewed on his lip. If he didn’t like Angelina so much, he could have ran off to avoid this awkward situation.

Blaise:Blaise looked up when he heard everyone make their entrance and his eyes met Draco’s almost immediately, at least when Draco looked back to him. He gave him a crooked smile, raising his hand and giving him a slight wave. He leaned in to whisper in Astoria’s ear. “I’m going to go talk to him,” he whispered before getting up to go over to him.

Astoria: Astoria had watched everyone arrive closely but tried her best to avoid Ron’s eyes. She shifted awkwardly, touching Blaise’s arm a lot and checking the time. Her jaw clenched noticeably as she spotted Draco and Hermione, she knew instantly what Blaise was going to say. “fine, just leave me in the awkwardness. Go.

Ginny: Ginny grasped Harry’s hands with her own at her side keeping his arms around her and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. She watched Ron walk over with a smile, glancing once at Astoria over his shoulder. “You two work too much,” she interrupted the two men, poking Ron jokingly on the gut with a finger.

Harry: He laced his fingers through Ginny’s hair, smiling down at her. “Nahh, it’s just a demanding job, sweet.”
Noticing Hermione and Draco’s arrival, he pecked his wife on the forehead once more before striding over to the couple, giving Ron an encouraging look to join him.

Ron: Ron’s gaze fell as soon as he saw Hermione and Draco enter. He shifted a little further away from them. His eyes followed Harry as he walked to them, he gave a sharp shake of his head and turned away. “How long does this normally take, you know to have a baby?” he asked Ginny, though he wasn’t after an answer just a distraction.

Hermione: Hermione kissed Draco’s cheek gently, “Come on, please don’t be that way,” she said softly. “If you really don’t want to be here…you can go,” she whispered into his ear before straightening up. Hermione couldn’t help but smile crookedly when she saw Harry start to come over, and she gave a slight nod to Blaise as soon as he stopped walking right next to Draco. Her smile faded just slightly upon realising that Ron wasn’t going to join him in speaking with her. Even though she completely understood why, it still hurt. She moved into Harry, wrapping her arms around him. “Hey you, miss you,” she whispered, smoothing down the back of his untidy hair, even if she knew that it was of no use

Draco: He brushed his hand across Hermione’s in a sort of supportive way. Pretty much where ever she went, he went. He couldn’t get out of it most of the time anyway. His eyes turned to Blaise. “Hey, mate,” he said softly. “Is it just me or do you feel the death wish washing over us?” He noticed Astoria’s less than pleased expression. It almost made him happier. Almost.

George:He stepped out of the room and was greeted by Molly’s high screech that could either mean he did something wrong and she was about to pounce him with all her might using her wooden spoon or something has made her extremely happy or excited to the point at which she pounces the nearest family member— which would, more ofthen than not, be George— with her wooden spoon. Thankfully, the spoon was nowhere to be seen. George was looking rather disheveled yet he was happy to see everyone there, waiting patiently while Angie was in labour. He gave his Mum a hug, a small nod to his Dad and addressing no one in particular, said  ”Angie’s alright. Her contractions are becoming more and more frequent so it wouldn’t be long now.” He then scanned through the small crowd to look for Ginny and asked “Were you able to grab Angie’s things?”

Ginny: Ginny pretended to be oblivious of Ron’s avoidance. “It varies from case to case but on the avera—” Her mum’s scream cut her off and the corners of her mouth turned up into a slight smile as she watched her gush over George. “Well there you go. Not too long now,” she told Ron before taking the bags sitting on the floor. She nudged the larger one sideways until it hit Ron’s foot for him to pick up and grabbing the smaller one. “This one’s yours. Can’t have little Fred doubting his dad’s Weasley charms,” she said looking pointedly at his tousled appearance.

George: He scrunched up his nose playfully at Ginny’s remark, grabbed the bags and thanked her. He hugged his mum one more time saying, “I’ll be back soon, probably with a new Weasley in tow.” then went back again inside the room.

Welcome to the World Baby Weasley! Part 1

Angelina: An extremely pregnant Angelina Johnson huffed and puffed as she waddled down the long gravelled pavement of the Zabini Manor. 5 days. It was 5 days past her due date now and she was uncomfortable, tired and fed up. She refused an inducing potion as she wanted Fred’s birth to be as natural as possible. So she carried on as if everything were normal, ignoring the objections of George and Molly who just told her to put her bloody feet up. No thank you. She rung the bell and waited outside the lavish mansion, gripping her belly as she got her breath back.

Astoria: Astoria gave Angie a huge smile as she opened the door and offered her, her arm instantly. “You okay, love. Look, come sit down.” Astoria walked them into then nearest room with chairs, “maybe this wasn’t the best idea. You really should have stayed at home.” She called a maid to bring them tea and then sat down next to Angie.

Angelina: She let out a huge sigh. “Tori please!” she whined. “I’ve had my parents and Weasley’s left right and center telling me to ‘put my feet up’. Fred will arrive when he wants to and if I want to visit my friend then I will. Actually, they say that walking helps getting you in labour so no, I will not stay in bed all day okay!?” she took a deep breath. “Okay, rant over….. Can I have a cuppa and a bowl of ice cream please?”

Astoria: “And what if I say we don’t have ice cream?” she smirked then the maid came back with tea and Astoria requested ice cream. “So that is the real reason you’re here. Not to visit me but to get away from them,” she laughed and took a sip of her tea.

Angelina: “I would have to kill you…” she teased, winking at her friend. She took her tea and rested it on her balloon of a tummy; a little trick she’d learnt during pregnancy… George found it most amusing. “Well that’s part of it. They won’t stop fussing! It’s ridiculous… Mother has practically moved in, Molly won’t stop jabbering about rest and every single time I frown George thinks that the baby is coming! It’s ridiculous, Tori. I just want peace!”

Astoria: “Well I’m sure Molly knows what she is talking about, she has had about a hundred kids.” She laughed. “But don’t worry you can come here whenever you need a bit of peace.” The dog walked into the room and sat at Angies feet wanting attention, “you can just ignore him if you want.”

Angelina: “Like I said; I just want a bit of calm for a bit. No shrill voices and pestering. Plus I want to see my baby’s godmother of course…” she gave her a warm grin. Angie took the mug of tea and put it on the coffee table next to her before trying her best to lean forward and pet the dog. “He’s gorgeous.. Blaise is one lucky boy! How on earth does he divide the time between the two of you eh!?” she teased.

Astoria: Astoria smiled as she watched Angie try to lean forward. She bent down and picked up the puppy, sitting him on her lap so Angie wouldn’t have to reach so far to stroke him. “you moan about it now, but I’m sure the second he is born you will be so thankful you have all of them to help.”

Angelina: “hmmm I guess so… I just really want him to arrive now. It was lovely being pregnant but 5 days overdue… I’m truly exhausted and I ache, Tori.” she jutted out her bottom lip like an infant.

Astoria: “Aww I’m sorry, love. I can’t do anything about that. Have you looked into ways that can educe it? I heard sex helps.” She smirked and the ice cream arrived.

Angelina: Angie let out a little giggle as she reached for her bowl, “chyeah right! I can hardly bend over but sure… I’ll do a bit of doggy style” she joked, blushing slightly. “How are you and the Mr anyway?”

Astoria: She laughed, absentmindedly stroking Windsor. “Can’t hurt can it?” she winked and took a drink, “Yeah we’re fine.”

Angelina: “Good. Hey, I need to pee. Can you help me up?”

Astoria: “yeah of course,” she put down her cup then the dog, standing and holding out her hand.

Angelina: Angie grasped Tori’s hand and hauled herself off the sofa. There was a little twitch in her lower tummy but she thought nothing of it and it wasn’t until she was shuffling out of the living room door, that she felt a warm trickle down her leg… “Oh……shit”

Astoria: “Angie? What is it?”

Angelina: She slowly turned to face Tori, grabbing her tummy, a panicked look on her face. “Either I peed myself or my waters just broke…”

Astoria: Astoria eyes widened, rushing to her. “Can you not tell the difference?”

Angelina: There was a short, sharp stabbing pain in her abdomen and she let out a yelp. “I think” she took a deep breath, wincing “perhaps it was the latter…”

Astoria: “Oh fuck. Okay okay, come sit back down. Ill try get hold of George. Just breathe yeah.” She walked her slowly back to the sofa and stroked her head lightly, “what would be the best way of getting hold of him?”

Angelina: She flopped back onto the sofa and closed her eyes, willing herself not to panic as the realisation sunk in. This was it. The beginning. She was going to have a baby. “I think h-he’s at…. the… ssshhop”

Astoria: “I can’t leave you so I guess I’m gunna have to send him an owl.” She grabbed a pen and paper, sat on the sofa with her and began to write. –George, get to Blaise’s now. Angie has gone into labour. Astoria- She shot up, running out of the room to find the nearest maid and get the message sent off. She ran back in, “just breathe; he will be here any minute.”

Angelina: “That won’t be fast enough w-will it?” she leant back and just breathed. “Ohhh Merlin…. Why now?!”

Astoria: “Ssh.” She rubbed her knee and prayed George got her message. “Do you need anything?”

Angelina: Another stab in her stomach made Angie whimper. “Want to do this for me?”

Astoria: She gave her a sympathetic smile, “not really.” She had no idea what to do, she was scared that if she tried to comfort her, Angie would spaz out like the crazy pregnant woman she had heard about.

Angelina: “I just need to keep my breathing good… just keep- OWWW!!!!”

Astoria: She winced as Angie screamed out. “Fuck, okay breath with me.” Fucking hell George, get your skinny arse here now.

George: George was doing inventory at his old room at the Diagon Alley shop when he heard taps from the window. He let in the owl that seemed too eager to give him the message. “OW!! Alright, alright. You don’t have to bite!” He felt panic in an instant as he read the letter and apparated to Blaise’s place. “How are you? We need you to get to St. Mungo’s!” George said in a hurry. “Do you have a fireplace?”

Astoria: She jumped up as George entered the room. “Her water broke about five minutes ago. yep we have about a hundred. The nearest is in the next room.” She gestured for them to follow, waiting as George helped Angie up and lead them into the parlour. “I’ll owl everyone for you, just concentrate on her, yeah.” she smiled as she held out a bowl of Floo powder.

Angelina: A little relief washed over Angie as she saw George bound into the room looking a little panicked. As soon as she saw him, she held her arms out for him and he helped her off’ the sofa. Another pain shot through her and she cried out again, clinging onto him. “George… It hurts!”

George: “I know it does, love, I know it does but it’ll be over soon. Shh… I’ll be here for you every step of the way, okay?” He said as he tried to comfort Angie, kissing her in the forehead. It pained him to see Angie suffering but he knew that a few hours— or even minutes— from now, they’ll be holding their son. His son. “Now breathe.. just the way we practiced.” Getting a handful of Floo powder, he called out “St. Mungo’s.”

Astoria: She watched them with a smile as the green flames engulfed them, “good luck and i’ll get there as soon as possible.”

Angelina: Whimpering a quick ‘thank you’ to Tori, Angie and George found themselves in the lobby of St Mungo’s seconds later. Angie clung onto her tummy, breathing short, deep pants, still clutching onto George.

George: “Help me! My fiance’s gone into labour!” George said rather loudly to the first mediwitch he saw. “I’ve already reserved a room under my name, George Weasley. Just please get her into the room and call whoever needs to be called to attend to her.”

Angelina: The mediwitch told the pair to remain calm as she fetched a midwife and a wheelchair for Angie to sit in. The midwife asked lots of questions. How far apart were her contractions? How powerful where they? What sort of pain was it? She then conjured Angie’s files and birthing plan as they approached her room. “A natural birth eh? You’re one brave woman!” she said, cheerfully. “Id you’d like to prop her on the bed for me love?” she asked George. “I’m just going to check how dilated you are…” Angie tried her best to smile at the woman but was concentrating on not screaming so much.

George: George gave a nervous smile at the mention of natural birth, “She just won’t say no to the idea.” He kissed her forehead again before helping her out up the bed. “Is everything alright?” He asked the midwife he grabbed a hold of Angie’s hand, silently letting her know he won’t leave her side. “You can squeeze my hand if you want to… heck, you can bloody break it if you want to.”

Christmas Presents, Super Auror’s and Kisses.

biliusweasley:

Ron: Ron quickly gathered up the gifts he had lying around his room and put them in the first bag he could find. He almost tripped trying to reach his wand then quickly apparated to outside Padma’s flat. He looked down at the crinkled plastic bag holding the gifts and rang the bell.

Padma: Padma didn’t expect Ron to get the message in time. It had been posted on a complete whim as she had nothing to do that weekend. She was a bit of a loner to be quite honest. She saw Ginny, Luna and Cho from time to time but Parvati was half way around the world and her shifts at the hospital were awkward. She’d gotten used to it, but it was nice to have the company. As soon as the bell rang, she got up from the blanket that displayed the remaining un-wrapped presents and various ribbons and paper and unlocked the door . “Hi, come in” she said, running a hand through her hair.

Ron: He gave her a shy but sweet smile as she opened the door, “hi.” He walked through the front door, trying to take in as much of her flat as he could with out looking like some sort of inspector. “Glad it’s warm in here, if not I would be out that door and back in my room by now,” he joked, playing with the handle of the plastic bag.

Padma: She returned the smile as she closed the door behind him before making her way back to the living room, motioning for him to follow. “Ever heard of a warming charm, Ron?” she teased. “You should be toasty in no time. I’ve got a fire going. Erm, just make yourself at home.” she gestured to the sofa.

OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS SO CUTE!

A Scan, a Kiss and a Cuppa…

Angelina: “George! We’re going to be late!” Angelina called up the endless staircase of The Burrow. They had about five minutes to get to the hospital for her 30 week scan and she was starting to get impatient. Ever since moving into The Burrow, Angie had grown into George’s habits a little too easily, including over sleeping.

George: George swore under his breath at himself as he pulled the first jumper he could find over his lanky frame and jogged down the stairs, almost tripping on Ron’s jeans that were laying on a step. “For….will Ron bloody learn to put his clothes away!” he let lout a long sigh as he reached the bottom to were Angie stood. He gave her an apologetic smile and kissed her cheek, “Ready.”

Angelina: Angelina couldn’t help but give her fiance a lopsided grin as he stumbled down the stairs to her side. He was so adorable when dishevelled, as much as it ticked her off. “If this baby is anything like his father then I bet the healer will have to send an alarm clock up there just to remind him to be born!” she teased, tieing his scarf about his neck.

George: George gave her a cheeky grin, “You have to build up the right comedic tension for these things…” he laughed. He watched her intently as she wrapped the scarf around him and smiled as he put one arm around her to rub her back lightly.

Angelina: Her rounded stomach was jutting out so much nowadays, she couldn’t even bend over to pick anything up anymore or even get up from the sofa without help! It was a pain, but Angie loved nothing more than being pregnant.  Stealing one last kiss, she then dragged George to the fireplace before flooing to St Mungo’s.

George: George let out a winded grunt as she pulled him too the fireplace. He was always nervous about her flooing but Angie insisted and the mediwitchs had said it was safe. Before Angie could even step a foot outside of the fireplace, George had his arm around her and walked her out into the reception, almost like a frail old lady. He knew he was over doing it, she was Angie, tough and incredibly strong but he had to protect his family even if that did mean being over cautious and annoying.

Angelina:  ”George, I’m not dying…” she whispered in a teasing manner, though she grasped his hand within hers tightly. She didn’t like hospitals at all, even though she was in there for routine check-ups every other month… they had a wierd vibe. They were immediately sent through to their appointment having arrived just in time. Angelina removed her coat and propped herself up on the bed before pulling back the hem of her tunic to reveal the large bump that was currently housing her baby.
The scans were almost identical to that of a muggle ultrasound. The mediwitch shuffled into the room, bright blue potion in her hands. Angie hissed slightly as the ice cold jelly solution was rubbed over her abdomen. She still hadn’t gotten used to the sensation… The mediwitch then pointed her wand at Angie’s tummy and performed a silent spell that projected the ultrasound into the air before them.

George: The whole idea of a baby was still a rather overwhelming thought for George, he was excited but it was daunting too. A little person living inside Angie seemed like the most crazy and amazing magic he had ever witnessed. He watched closely, like he did every time, as the mediwitch prepared Angie for the scan. His hand clenched hers tighter as the image of little Fred filled the space in front. He couldn’t help but place a huge grin across his face, that was his kid, his son and he looked amazing. He kissed Angies hand lightly, almost in thanks.

Angelina: As always, Angie’s eyes teared up the moment her eyes laid on the little figure that was projected in front of her. That was him. Her baby. This little person was living in her! It was unbelieveable, the strangest feeling ever but oh so wonderful. She gripped George’s hand in a vice like hold as the mediwitch went over all of the checks.

George: George kissed the top of Angie’s head. She always seemed nervous when they ran checks but he knew Fred would be fine, more than fine, a Weasley.  Looking at the size of Fred it dawned on him how soon it is until he would be born. He suddenly felt unprepared in a way, but this soon subsided as he remembered the stacks upon stacks of baby stuff back home.

Angelina: Angie stroked back George’s hair as the mediwitch scourgified her tummy and left to collect their scan photograph. “What are you thinking?” she asked, hand going to cup his cheek.

George: He smiled down at her, “Nothing really. Just that he is already better looking than Ron.”  He kissed her lips gently, “I need to learn how to change a nappy.”

Angelina: She let out a small giggle “You and I both, honey. But everything will come naturally…. You’re going to be great.” she kissed him back tenderly.

George: “So will you,” he whispered as he waited for the news he already knew, that Fred was perfect.

Angelina: The mediwitch returned, letting them know that all was well and giving them their scan picture. Angelina stared at her baby once more, before handing it to George and holding her arms out, “Help the heavily pregnant lady up, Sir?”

George: George took a second to look at the photo before carefully putting it in his pocket. He held out his hands for Angie and helped her off’ the bed, drawing her into a sweet hug, rubbing her lower back. He pulled back slowly and took her hand, thanking the mediwitch and walking Angie out of the room.

Angelina: Angie waddled down the corridor, holding onto George as they floo’ed back home. She immediately plonked herself down on the sofa, hands snaking protectively over her stomach. “Only a couple of months now…” she said to the bump, “I hope you grow up to be like your Daddy, although if you’re not as cheeky and don’t like playing pranks I won’t mind THAT much” she teased.

George: George watched her intently and smiled to himself. “You want a cuppa?”

Angelina: She looked up and chuckled at George… “Sure, go and put the kettle on Polly”

George:
“We’ll all have tea,” he sang to himself as he walked in to the kitchen.

Ice Cream, Babies and Forgiveness.

astoria—greengrass:

Angelina: when Angelina received the first message, well… she was surprised to say the least. She didn’t think that Astoria would speak to her again, yet there was still a flicker of hope inside that Tori would talk to her again… The whole situation had just taken it’s toll on Angie. All she wanted was peace and happiness, but she didn’t realise that becoming friends with a Slytherin would bring this much drama. But Astoria was her friend and in a bad place. It’s in Angelina’s nature to give her friends help and comfort if they’re in trouble and it was a bit of a shock when her help was rejected. Tori seemed to just block her out and put up these walls that nobody could knock down … or even peer over.  Admittedly, in her hormonal state, Angelina had been a little too bold in her attempts to reach out to Astoria but it didn’t stop her feeling like she needed to help. She’d made a good friend in Astoria and she didn’t want to lose that… so here she was again, standing at the huge front door of the Greengrass mansion. Her hand reached out to the large knocker….

Astoria: Astoria looked at herself as she brushed her hair; she had done a half hearted attempt at looking presentable, though by anyone else’s standard she looked perfectly groomed. Lately she hadn’t cared as much for her how she looked, she spent far less time looking in mirrors, they only seemed to increase her self hate.  She gave a start as the door knocked; she sat for a moment wondering whether to answer it herself. She stood and walked out of her room, she at least owed Angie the respect of answering the door to her. Astoria was uncharacteristically shaky as she opened it and gave the warm and familiar face a weak smile, “hi Angie.”
